The Federation of PNP Accredited NGO's (FPAN) headed by President, PCGA Cmdr Elizer Bongabong, PCGA, has been an active support grouo and partner of te Philippine National Police SEC registered on July 23, 1990 and composed of now 36 accredited SEC registered Non government organization with a total card bearing members of 3.5 million nationwide and 4700 chapters all over the country. Guided by principles of volunteerism and community service, these top dedicated leaders of NGO's binded together and entered into a Memorandum of Agreement on September 6, 1999 with the Philippine National Police by then Police Deputy Director General Edmundo L. Larroza, OIC, PNP and by then PCSUPT Crescencio L. Maralit, en L. Director, PCRG and by former President, Lawin Reuben L. Magsino.
Functioning as partner and auxiliary force of the Philippine National Police under the direct supervision of the Police Community Relations Group (PCRG) and in collaboration with other NGO's and concerned agencies of the government, FPAN had established activities aimed to organize and mobilize the community.
The FPAN unanimously pledged to continue its commitment to be of service to the Filipino people. It is united as everi and supporting the O.N.E. PNP and building Stronger Police Stations for a Strong Republic.
A Strong Republic needs a strong leader. Thus, the FPAN share this views of the PNP and as leaders of the community, supports the t10 point program of the country. As a way of expressing the organizations support, the leaders of FPAN together with the top PNP officials went to the Office of the President at Malacanang Palace to present a Manifesto of Support to the President last July 07, 2005 during the height of so called " HYATT 10 CRISIS".
In the year ahead, these milestone ae our building blocks for even more effective and responsive community service as we re-affirm our commitment as dedicated partners of the PNP in fight against all forms of criminality and helping the Police community Relations Group (PCRG). The FPAN continues to exist by touching lives, wining hearts-bringing the PNP closer to the people.
